My Artifacts
I attended and observed a Chippewa Valley School District regular board meeting on August 22, 2022. During this meeting, I observed school leaders and administration reports from administrators throughout my district. I was able to see how the board and administrators discuss and approve financial reports for the school year. I observed how the school district and parents advocate for the students by sharing their insights to the board members.

I created a flyer for parents that allowed them to read all about the 3rd grade reading law. This flyer allowed me to advocate for all of my students and make the community aware of a policy that is put into place from the State of Michigan. I communicated to students and parents about this law that was put into effect several years ago. I facilitated discussions between parents and teachers on the impact and importance of this reading law.
